Around 10 p.m. CDT July 8, the NATA website will be taken down for approximately six hours as staff transitions the website to Drupal 10, an upgraded content management system.
Key enhancements include improved search functionality, stronger security protocols and better accessibility utilizing current best practices. The Member Resource Library will also receive expanded functionality, making it more comprehensive and easier to navigate as resources will now be automatically pulled from across the website.
In addition to backend improvements, the website will undergo a visual refresh, offering users a more modern look and streamlined content structure. For example, content from the NATA Hall of Fame microsite will now be integrated into the main NATA website.
When the website relaunches July 9, members can log in as usual using their existing user information. Members won’t need to update their password or resubmit their personal information to NATA.
According to NATA Director of Information Technology Drew Caffey, this is phase one of a multi-phase update to the NATA website. Members should stay tuned to NATA’s communication channels to learn more about the subsequent phases.
